PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) — Steelers linebacker Lamarr Woodley returned to action Sunday from a hamstring injury sustained in Week 8 against New England.
He didn’t last long, however, leaving the game because of aggravating the same hamstring once again. The team is listing the injury as minor and he might be able to return for Thursday night’s game against Cleveland.
“LaMarr Woodley felt a little tweak,” Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said after the game. “There’s no major damage. He might be in play for Thursday night but we didn’t want to do any further damage to him today.”
Offensive guard Ramon Foster left Sunday’s game as well with an ankle injury. He did not return.
“He was not able to return to the game,” Tomlin said. “We will see where he is for Thursday night.”
