Pittsburgh GM Kevin Colbert expects running back Rashard Mendenhall to play in 2012, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
Fantasy Spin:
This is encouraging, as there has been speculation that Mendenhall could miss the entire 2012 campaign while rehabbing his torn ACL. So while Mendenhall is still likely to start the season on the PUP list, he at least merits consideration as a late-round stash in fantasy drafts. And as a side note, the Steelers may opt to select a running back at some point in Aprils Draft for better depth.
