Music is all about personal tastes my friend. I don't like Metalica. Never have and never will. I don't think their songs are that good, I don't think the writing is that good (lyrics) and I don't think the musicianship is that good. Popularity doesn't mean squat...Britney Spears has sold a ton of records too. So have a lot of other sub-par artists. The Bee Gees...ABBA...the list goes on.

We're all entitled to our own opinions, even if they're wrong.

A vote against "Renegade". "Iron Man" would fit the profile more aptly.

I don't hate Styx. But I do prefer Dennis DeYoung on his own. Styx doesn't exist apart from Dennis DeYoung. The "Styx" that exists now isn't Styx.

However,"Renegade" is a dog as a fight song. "Iron Man" befits the Steelers hard core values and fan base. It's perfect.

The only problem I have with Iron Man is the same one I have with Hell's Bell's - they're too dang popular. Everyone uses them. Don't get me wrong, I love both songs to death, but after being used so much they just aren't as special if we use them. That's why I prefer going after lesser-known ones.

Iron Man would be perfect. But, if it's new stuff or lesser known tunes that should be considered exclusively, then I propose "Yell Fire" by Michael Franti and Spearhead [url="http://www.spearheadvibrations.com/"]http://www.spearheadvibrations.com/[/url].

I couldn't get behind Hell's Bells, but Iron Man just sounds like the dirging, plodding, methodical anthem that would drive the Steelers and put the opposition in the dirt where they belong.
