                I really wish Leftwich had stayed. Batch and Dixon won't get us to the play offs if Ben was ever hurt.

                If Ben does get hurt for an extended period of time we will be drafting high enough to get that OT everyone wants.

                    That would certainly be the conventional wisdom. However, nobody thought that a rookie would carry us to the #1 seed in the playoffs when Tommy Maddox went down in the second game of the season.

                    The way this team is set up, there is the expectation from the staff that if a player goes down then his backup is required to step up. Hopefully we don't have to find out if Dixon or Batch can do that.

                                        I'm in Newport RI for a wedding, in which my daughter is the flower girl, and I miss all this racially charged banter. Just because I'm on vacation, doesn't mean that the ninja are... they're being dispatched momentarily.
