Even though Rod won a superbowl outside of Pittsburgh, it's a shame he was injured during the 1995 season. To come back and actually suit up and contribute in the Superbowl that year is amazing.
MY FAVORITE ROD WOODSON PLAYS of ALL TIME:
#1: 1996-1997 AFC Wild Card game against the Colts: Marshall Faulk caught a short dump off pass and Rod was being blocked by a TE. Faulk cut behind his TE's block (as most RB's should have) and Rod fully engaged by the TE, manhandled the TE and pushed him into FAULK knocking him to the ground. I was at that game and it might have been one of the most amazing spur of the moment tackles in NFL History.
#2: Rod's pass defense in SUPERBOWL XXX against Michael Irvin.
