Re: Stapleton awaits MRI
The good news is that Hartwig is getting better, and I believe almost ready to take part in the practices. I either read that on the pitt post or gazzet.
On the postive side,with the injuries to Hartwig/Stapleton it gives more reps at C and G for the youngsters (Urbik, Foster, Ship). Just like a new toy, I am favoring Urbik to earn the RG spot, but also heard numerous reports of his play on one on one drills, where he is reported not to really excel at.
In regards to Essex, I heard he looks good so far in camp at RG, but then who will be the swingman for the T IF he earns the RG spot. Caprizi (sp)? Foster?
On the negative side, are these injuries going to linger? Are we back to square 1, mixing up the players to fill the voids on the line?
