My take, his body language was absolutely horrible. He was not composed at all. However, it did not say to me "I am guilty of sexual assault and I know it." No, it said to me "I cannot believe that I was stupid enough to have a one night stand with this bimbo nutjob. What in the heck was I thinking?"

Another (hard) lesson (unfortunately) learned.

His body language and appearance says to me that he is a wreck over this. I think any normal person would be, particularly if you are innocent. If he comes in all clean shaven and looking great, it shows it isn't really bothering you or disrupting your daily life. Remember this statement was given just 2 days after the story broke.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that more than a few folks on this board have had a one night stand with a person that were not necessrily all that proud about the next morning (looks around...). Now imagine having it come up in public AND it's being discussed in terms of a sexual assault. It's not something you really want your parents (especially Mom) or sister hearing about. It's got to be insanely hard to talk about at a press conference.

I took his body language to be a combination of being shell shocked and a ton of anger. The kind of anger you want to unleash but know you have to suck it up because of the situation.

Impossible to know if it will have an affect. Could be the football field is the only place he feels he can get away and forget it's going on and he plays great (my wishful thinking).

That's exactly how I read his body language. In a sense, the fact that it was so unpolished makes me feel like he's a good guy at heart.

A little OT, I was thinking that the only girls I've seen in pics with Big Ben have not been exactly glamor model types. As far as I know, I think he's still dating actress Missy Peregrym.

I saw a picture of him with her at a recent awards show in LA. Her show just got cancelled and it was filming in Vancouver. She just got cast in a new show that starts filming in Toronto.

She will be closer and maybe will be able to keep Ben under better control.
