Maybe he is going where he thinks he has a chance to play but could also be the only offer he received.

I would have Wilson for the lower amount he signed for ( 1 year ) , but don't kid ourselves, we still have not solved a long term need at QB.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Best of luck to Mason. Unfortunately for him when he had a chance to start earlier in his career the Steelers had a lousy OL, Canada and a lack of weapons at WR.

I believe he's a decent QB who can win some games in the NFL and perhaps a playoff game or two. Nevertheless thanks for always being a professional and a team player, Mason.

Mason had Fitchner at OC when he started the bulk of his games.

He never played with Canada at OC.

but even the person who said vet minimum was way closer than Joel. ?Up to? 3.65 means he is getting like 2 mill.
Heard on the radio today that Cousins has earned over $400M. The were saying he was abusiness genius

I felt the same. Once Cousins left, Mason could have earned the job in Minny. Just beat out Darnold which many have done

He is the primary reason Bell pushed for more guaranteed money. They were teammates at MSU. Dude is all about that guaranteed cash.

Look at his prime time record and playoff record. Its amazing what some QB’s can get away with while other players and positions get treated like trash.

Likewise.. Darnold is not it. I feel
like the Vikes would move on from him quickly if he fell on his face. I think TN has more patience with Levis.

I also saw a show on him and he is grounded as can be. Very much down to earth, very frugal.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

His nickname should be the great swindler! He has earned over 400M and has 1 playoff win, crazy.

                          apparently it works.. lol.

his game is extremely humble when it comes to prime time 12-20 and playoffs 1-4.

Cousins bet on himself to make that money.
Wasn’t he franchise tagged a couple times?
Instead of crying, pouting, bad mouthing the organization and running to the media, he played that year.
He played well enough to earn a contract from another team…..
                            rinse and repeat.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

He was offered the biggest rb contract ever.
Fortunately for Steeler fans, he acted like he did. He treated his new teams like trash the way he performed for the money he received.

Yeah, I forgot about that. Thanks for correcting my mistake. He was still put in a terrible situation to have any kind of success. I think Tom Brady in his prime would have struggled too, imo.
