    Questions-
If you could guarantee Mason throws 5 TDs have a fumble and a pick against the Bills would you take it?

Would you bet for or against us being outscored if we score 42 or even 35?

Would you be more or less apt to want to keep him as starter next season.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

    TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

      Correct. To make that point:

There have been 1088 playoff games in NFL history. How many times has a team scored 40 and lost?

      THREE TIMES EVER.

Turnovers happen every year. You dont give up 45 EVEN ASSISTSED BY TURNOVERS unless your defense is garbage.

        Yes 17 points.
You know the same amount we gave up TO A BACKUP QB in zero turnover FOURTH QUARTER ALONE versus the Jags.

The LAST DTD IN STEELER HISTORY was scored by TJ WATT. Despite that gift, the Chiefs SKOKED US.

Of course turnovers and DTDs are obstacles to overcome. If you score 42 or even 35 (you like to take away the last score) you SHOULD WIN

BRADSHAW DID exactly that despite 2 turnovers and 1 DTD.
        Yep.

You win 10% of the time you give up a DTD.

I don't get why you don't understand that the Jags D played differently when up by 2 scores than when the game was close.

And probably 0% of the time when you give up two DTDs.... ask the Browns.

are folks still talking about the Jags loss.

We have other losses in the playoffs. Its not the only one.

You can still win if you give up a DTD but we all know it makes it much harder to win when you give them up over multiple playoff games.

The chances of overcoming them over time are lower and lower IMO.

Time to let the Jags loss go.

I think that's part of the point here. The defense was very weak in key spots. We had a guy named Walton playing almost half the snaps on the DL. So the offense giving them help didn't help.
And some seasons some opponents just have you number. The Jags dropped a 30 burger on the Steelers earlier in the year.

                It's like investing.

                Sequence of returns matters.

Especially in a game like that when we knew we'd be **** defending the run. We needed to make them one dimensional. All the good players on that team were on offense after the Shazier injury.

But I understand that you've staked a position out here. And I don't remember you ever admitting to be wrong

Somehow, we still almost lost that game.

And Felt want's us to "remember" that Kenny was actually good this season.

in the AFC. we have the following matchups this weekend:

                      Lamar Jackson vs CJ Stroud

                      Patrick Mahomes vs Josh Allen

until we get a QB of that caliber, we won't have success in the AFC playoffs.

We had a hof qb for years and years and didn’t have the success we should have.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?
