After the way Robinson outplayed KP last week, I don't know what to think of the offense anymore. I"m just going to sit back and watch with my fingers crossed.
Bengals are cooked, the D will force mistakes from their inexperienced QB, and their run D stinks. If the Steelers lose this one then the playoffs are highly unlikely and the goal will once again become keeping the streak of non-losing seasons alive.

You underestimate Boswell's range.
Steelers score 13!
Bad guys score 20.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.
Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.
*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***
It's all about the QB and unfortunately PIT may not have one.
Also, I hate it when the media favors the Steelers:
Looking over some of the advanced metrics on Steelers vs Bengals for this season, it's a virtual dead heat. No way I would put serious money on this one.
Seen some posters on another board talking about the Steelers offense finally breaking the 400 yd barrier against the Bengals. I think they are being overly optimistic on how much change can really happen. This is especially true if, in fact, the Steelers have a broken QB. Also they are still bound by the playbook that is already installed so in reality we are talking about tweaks and maybe better sequencing of plays.
This actually might be the first game this season where the Steelers flip the pass/run ratio to favor the run game. Currently there are only two teams in the NFL that run more than they pass and both tops in their division. Old school football can work in the modern NFL.
I will also, just sit back and watch and hope the Steelers come out pissed and motivated?
Maybe we will see signs looking like the firing of Canada made some difference!

The first positive sign to look for is a pass in the middle of the field! How about that?

I expect you will see our offense move to a bigger percentage of running plays. I think it will be good, as long as we are not so predictable with our play calling

I hope not; I don't like the idea of trying to hide KP. That's not what we need to do. He needs to be allowed to make the growth mistakes he needs to make to get better. I"m not saying throw the ball all over the field and abandon the run, but I"m saying run a balanced offense and when it's time for KP to throw, then he needs to make the prescribed pass with the accuracy we expect from a starting QB in the NFL. If he can't, then he can't. But this enabling talk around KP has got to stop. He has to pull his own weight on this team. And if he can't, then we know what we have to do in the next draft.
