They don't. Just because the family is IN the management aspect of the business doesn't mean they are really concerned about winning. Teams make profits weather they win or lose. Go see how many family members of the Bidwell family (for example) (owners of the Arizona Cardinals) are involved with the team. And that team is tanking this year.
