    whatever fits their agenda...

He was in on one drive that was predominantly passing

I really just want to see Canada call a good game. Our offense should be much better this year, can Canada rise to the Challange?

I think we'll have to wait to the real season to get a sense of whether the play calling has improved.

I don't think we can really tell in the preseason when the goal isn't really to win games or to scheme against opponents. When the purpose is more about evaluation of players than trying to win.

I would 100% agree if Canada was successful at this already. He needs all the practice he can get calling plays that build off of each other.

/\/\/\/\/\/\ THIS. Impossible to tell in PS. If we are gonna run the piss-your-pants offense, it won't show until the games count.

I think they'll go off of generic a little (if necessary) to try and score first team points to help in the confidence building. Jmho.

Yep. Maybe the worst evaluation of a player in the Kevin Colbert era.

By most accounts RB is the easiest position to come in without much previous work.

He's a vet now and knows the position. Warren too.

That's why Najee only had 1 reception (on 1 target) and no carries last game.

And why Warren only had 3 carries and no receptions (but did get a target).

That's also why it was weird when someone posted that Najee had 0 yards rushing last week. Maybe because he had no carries?
McFarland needs to show he can do more than just run to the edges. And would be great to see him and Warren in a pony backfield.

Najee needs work and to prove he is the RB1. I haven't heard enough good at training camp and didn't see enough last week
ILBs continue to sort out who are the starters and who are the backups
Dan Moore play extended time and show if he's improved or not
If JPJ can play 3 quarters, I'd play him
Nick Herbig probably won't duplicate last week's game but would love to see him hold his own at the worst
I would love to see Moore get some reps at RT and Jones at LT at the same time
The Steelers need to find a backup center not named Green

                        Pappy,

I endorse all of the above. Don't forget to give Washington some work, and let him wear #0 .
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Jarvis Jones/ Artie Burns were total whiffs.

There just hasn't been much positive coming out of camp and, to be fair, there hasn't been any negative about Najee. I know he's good but Warren is playing well and if there's a true competition it would be a close call right now. Me, personally, who has nothing to do with personnel decisions would want to see Najee play in a game just to see where he is at. As you have said many times, injuries ar epart of the game, you can't play personnel worrying about them being injured. If that were the case then Pickett shouldn't be playing. All many of us would like to see is where Najee is at currently for this season, there has been so little information about him.

Najee not having a rushing attempt is Canada's fault, not the fans.
