When we have injuries and lose its bad coaching.

That Cincinnati game wasn’t luck. That was Minkah, Watt and company playing their asses off and never giving up on a play.
    What's that I hear? It's a Yinzer, by God, a Yinzer!

But it is the reason why we had a winning season.

This year is the tell all; All these lingering scenerios /questions of what's real and what's not will be answered:

        1. Can a smash mouth offense featuring the run, really work in a big time fashion in the NFL?
        2. Is Canada a legit Offensive Coordinator?
        3. Is Kenny Pickett a legit Quarterback?
        4. Is Najee Harris a legit runningback?
        5. Can a team win when most of the money of the team is committed to defense?
        6. Will Tomlin's fraudism continue to be passed on to the fans by the Rooney's?
        7. Is Rooney operation of the team like it's the 1990;s continue or will he finally realize football has changed?

It will be show & tell time very soon. Some of us see it for what it is but the reality of it (one way or the other) comes very soon.

Yinzer = Steeler fan who acts like Browns' fan: every season is a Super Bowl waiting to happen. Just moronically watch. Reality has no bearing.

No, no, no. You're dealing in reality and that is simply wrong, according to the Yinzers. You must suspend all reality and pretend everything is perfect, without any concerns on the team, whatsoever. If you even question anything, regardless validity, you're just negative. Oh no, everything is perfect in Steeler land, regardless of reality.

As a matter of fact, we can turn back the clock and win with a power rushing game and D. Nothing else needed. We will build a team to win like the 1990 Giants. No problem. Super Bowl, here we come. If you doubt it you are not a real Steeler fan; you must apply fantasies to be one.

A run first offense does not mean go back 20yr offense. Ball control rushing offense might be a better term. For the ones that actually want Pickett to succeed this is the best style. Yes he needs to manage games at this point IMO.

Now can Pickett be a good to great QB I don?t know yet. Can Canada be a good OC? Probably not.

See not everything is rainbows and unicorns in Steeler land. Also not all doom and gloom.

I bet if this style of offense was built with players and system then used 5+yrs ago. Ben has another ring. Maybe even 2. Might not have blown out his elbow either.

Well, Rooney and the rest of management think that a smash mouth style of football can work. It’s interesting so let’s see.

This was mandated from the top so let’s see how successful it can be. All questions will be answered this year.

6 of those SB’s were won by 2 QB’s. One is the so called greatest of all time and the other is on a trajectory to surpass him and actually is the greatest passer of all time IMO based on arm talent.

I think this list is actually encouraging when you look at Seattle, Philly and even Denver.

Denver was all defense the year they won.
Philly had a backup who got hot but they were a balanced offense.

Seattle had a great defense and they also had a balanced offense.

I think unless you have the best QB’s your best bet is a more balanced offense and a strong defense.

and I don’t think the Rams had the best QB. Good playcalling but I also crack up because Stafford tried his best to give away that championship game vs the 49ers. The DN dropped the easiest INT I have ever seen.
