He’s battle teated now. I expect big things this year.

Not sure how anyone can say what he will and won’t be when you look at the way the second half of the season played out. Kenny definitely has to improve, but so does the WR unit and the OL.

On paper I think we improved the OL immensely and it will pay dividends this year.

Waiting to find out is the thing to do here.

The odds are long for any QB to be consistently in the top 10 (because the best guys stick around for a long time and bad QBs get drummed out).

Hopefully KP can make it higher than 10th.

I’m obviously a fan and sure, Kenny didn’t
live up to all my hype but the guy showed us some clutch genes.

Just needs to settle down in the RZ a bit. I think he takes that next step this year. He is just getting started.

If he doesn't get hurt in the Ravens game we make the playoffs. Got to keep him healthy and upright. Mitch needs to stay on the sidelines.

We lost to the Ravens 16-14, 3 ints. by Mitch, at least 2 in the red-zone, maybe all 3. And of course Boz also had a FG attempt blocked. That's potentially 12 points lost in a 2 point game. Win it, we are 10-7 and take the last WC spot. Fact check it.

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Some very nice comments about KP8 on the Fox article for his marriage to Amy. Very classy.

And I think we were last (or at least very close to it) in YAC last year. Part of that is certainly on the QB (part on the WRs, part on the OC). I think it's not good that he's among the worst in the league in several important categories (like intermediate passing and passing in the red zone). Maybe that's common for rookies, but it doesn't seem like a great early indicator to me.

Not sure why you don't trust AK on this. Just like PFF, he watched every play of the season and reported what he saw. This is the kind of analysis you say you value.
when your red zone pass play package is 90% fade routes, that's not putting the QB in the best position.

did you watch a SF game last year ?

this game was frustrating for me because I was on vacation.

by the time I was able to get a good connection Mitch was in throwing INT’s.. smh

Yep, some really positive small sample size stuff.

I think we'll learn a lot about him this season after teams have had time to analyze his tape.

That's the problem with being so close. There are so many "if only" kind of moments.

My go to "if this didn't happen" moment last season is the Gunner fumble.

I agree, you could say that about the Jets and Miami game as well. For last year's roster this team played in some incredibly close games. Blown out by Philly, Eagles, and Bengals. I can't think of any other.

I only mention the Ravens because that loss was directly correlated to the last play-off spot. They went in at 10-7 and we stayed home at 9-8.

I thought the Miami game was the start of Kenny’s legend until that INT. He got greedy… and well, DJ didn’t exactly help him out or finish the play.

Correct, I can lay at least 4 of his interceptions at the feet of Claypool and DJ. Still, he could have scrambled, got the 1st down and went out-of-bounds. I will chalk it up as a good learning lesson.

Makes total sense IMO. And also f-the Rats (but the Pats too for that matter)!
