This is just something that jibes with the narrative you constantly peddle. Not only do you have zero idea of what Tomlin would do on his own, it's an absurd hypothetical to begin with. The Steeler way is assembling the entire brain trust to gather all meaningful input- nobody makes such unilateral decisions. If you want to say that Tomlin was banging the drum for Peezy Jr in those meetings, then at least that might be something plausible to pick apart. I would then ask you to provide something other than your well-known bias to offer as evidence.
What have you seen or heard that would make you think the rookie GM or owner would discount an emphatic plea from their head coach? Then trade up to go get a different guy altogether? I've imagined that conversation in a few different ways and they are equally absurd. Seriously...run through that one in your mind and try not to crack a smile.
This is just your opinion, which is normally fine. However, you should be aware that no matter what you state, your opinion on all things Tomlin are completely meaningless. I'm not trying to be disrespectful or a jerk about it, just blunt. You've proven to anyone who frequents these pages enough that you are not capable of unbiased thinking when it comes to the guy. Literally, ZERO capability.
I'm sure the non-stop anti-Tomlin drivel will continue to flow from your keyboard, regardless of anything I've got to say. As long as other posters continue to allow it to catch their hair on fire or even see as worthy of responding to, then you will get your release of dopamine and the pattern will continue.
