Our phone is ringing with trade options for round two

That is for Will Levis. Hey teams if you need a QB here is your chance to trade and get one. It will cost you a 2nd and 3rd.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

It is highly unlikely that we would get a 2d and 3d. Value would equate to a 2d and 3d.

If we get a 3d that would be some crazy voodoo

The difficult thing is that they'd want to do it for the draft capital, but aren't they almost stuck taking JPJ? First round talent at CB just sitting there and it's a position of need.

i don't think anyone is going to give up two 2nds for a 2nd... depending on how far back they move, the haul could be a 4th... Detroit's might net you a 3rd, but it's a LONG drop to their first 2nd (48 overall pick)

Take a look at the teams needing a qb.
They are few and far between.
I’m guessing if we trade back, the player they select won’t be Levi’s.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

Didnt say two seconds.. meant maybe a team with more than one might be willing to part with one of them. Hope that makes sense

Either the Rams or Raiders may be looking for a QB. The Rams are 36 and the Raiders are 38. Not too far back to drop if the draft capital is good.

True, but if you are them , why would you trade up when there are no teams ahead of you that need a qb?

Maybe not the Rams, but the Raiders if they think the Rams will grab one. You could also look at the Titans. They are at 41 and may want to jump those other 2.

                      Obviously we will see.
I’m still betting that Porter is our guy and we won’t trade down so far that we can’t get him.

If there’s a guy that you have rated at elite, you take him and don’t bother dropping back.

Draft capital is great but the reality is most picks are misses and the odds go down the longer you get into the draft.

Would love to have more picks. But getting a guy is so much more valuable.

I was hoping Porter would have went where Banks went and Banks would still be on the board for us. If Banks were still on the board right now, I'd run to the podium and take him at # 32

we would have to drop really far to get a 2nd and a 3rd.
