Looking at he hard facts of Pickett's rookie year.

Pickett averaged 188 yards a game and 1-4 in games where he has a game he has to throw it over 30 times and the game he won the team happened to get +2 in the turnover margin. This is not impressive. Think about it. He has shown enough to be a game manager type of QB you can win with IF your ground game is working AND the team is on the plus side on turnovers. This is true, but we also didn't pick him to be that.

The lack of big plays, over 20 yards plus is the bottom of the NFL, like last.

It a good thing the Steelers lead the league in creating interceptions.

Watch the QB's in the playoffs to see the type of passes Pickett does not throw. He has not shown me he can do this, and lacks the velocity and arm I say. We should not draft QB in round one, but later.

Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

      This has become quite comical.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Still waiting for you to post KP's 20+yd passes on a per game basis. He started 5 fewer games than most of the QBs ahead of him.

His 2nd year should be telling. Or will Tomlin use Canada as the scape goat if KP still remains short of 20+ yard plays (when it's Shades coaching in his fears as the real culprit)?

yeah I think we need to draft RB in rounds 1 2 and possibly 3 to help KP

Sometimes you have good posts. However imho your ability to evaluate talent sucks.

During the Cowhers years (2004-2006) Ben won 2 of 10 games when throwing 30 times or more.
We should have drafted his replacement.

(People on the Trib forum were mad at an "overly conservative" coach for holding Ben back, just like now)

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

You are half right. I will let you speculate as to which half.

Eagles had thr running game going today. But we know Hurts can pass; after all , he has two WR’s who are both 1000 yard receivers. Very obvious he can pass and he mixes in a few runs too. He’s not like that bum in Baltimore who can’t really pass.

you turn every thread into a Lamar Jackson thread, your obsession with him is amazing.

it just kills you how wrong you were about him, huh?

Hurts is a running QB, he ran 9 times tonight and led the NFL among QBs in rushing yards last year.

I thought you said running QBs don't win jack?
