hardly anyone thought we would get a 2nd for Claypool. Talk about the steal of the draft for next year.. it has to be this pick!

Cannot believe some team gave up a 1st round pick (#32) for Claypool.... supersized fleecing...

        by the way...
Pickett is a stud, Sims is impressing, DJ has at least one more year... And there's Calvin Austin whose injury kept him off the field.

I'd be curious to see if they go WR at all in this draft and, if so, where.

What a terrible decision by Chi.

Happy to profit of their stupidity though

While I don't want this, I think it's pretty likely will use one of the 2nd rounders on a WR.

Well I would like to have listened to the trade talk because the Bears have the Ravens 2nd rounder and that may have been the initial offer a later 2nd. Possible big kudos to someone in the organization for getting us what we got. Perhaps Chicago believed we would have dealt him to the Packers and they sweetened the deal. Was that OK or MT or both or did they just say the hell with it we'll just make sure we get him.
I'm not sure how it was negotiated but there is a significant draft capital value difference between 32 and the back end of round 2's selection that Chicago holds based on the Ravens finish point. I would have to believe after round 1 of the draft and with only 31picks going off the board Steelers should be fielding many a call that night n the next morning. It's always better when the calls are coming in. This could be the trade that keeps on giving.

At the time, the Bears were ~ .500 and though that he'd make them improve enough that it would be closer to pick 60 than pick 30... jokes on them

                    he deserves credit.
he held out fir the bears own 2nd round pick when the rumor being floated was a 2nd rder they acquired in the Queen deal.
he had the Green Bay offer to fall back on and played them against each other.

intellectual. Not just emotional like… oh never mind

Left Guard needed; Dotson with yet another penalty yesterday. How does he not understand the rule for illegal man downfield??

Congratulations for leading the Steelers in penalties by a comfortable margin, averaging nearly 1 a game.

I am a big fan of O'Cyrus Torrence, who just moves people. Unfortunately, he seems to be gaining traction (in the mocks anyway) and may be gone in the first. Six weeks ago, he was being mocked a 3rd rounder.

Honestly, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing John Michael Schmitz selected at C, then putting Cole into the LG competition.

I'll go another way. As it was a personnel decision, unless I hear differently I'm assuming it was a Weidl move.

I haven't started looking into who might be out there but I gotta believe a LG is not a hard guy to find.

I don’t care what anyone says, we need a stud WR.

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Yes, he is the weak link. He also got Kenny in concussion protocol twice. The first time he was even called for holding. I think he is weak from the neck up.
