The first half gameplan won’t get it done. Requires too many plays to score. The approach needs to change or the D needs to force turnovers or we’re done.

      Got that right

this offense seems incapable of climbing out of that kind of hole

Feels like the Ravens are inside our heads.

        We can’t stop the run.

        We can’t defend the pass.

No splash plays as they control the LoS.

And they are getting away with O and D holding.

        What can you do?

In past Iterations of this rivalry, there was a Polamalu or a Harrison that made a splash play that would change the momentum.

Just wondering if the Steelers has it here.

Maybe crappy call but Steelers still need to execute better on D to stop that TD.

As I said earlier for Tomlin's gameplan to work you have to execute it flawlessly.

The run has worked well, but the WR's with exception of 88 have made mistakes and with such a thin margin killed them.

Hell even the false start at goal line on first drive was a killer
That's the ironic thing with going with such a conservative gameplan, it actually gives your players less room for error which makes it not so conservative in some respects. It also all but guarantees you aren't scoring very much. This kind of gameplan might make sense if you are more talented than the other team but against a team like the Ravens idk not too good unless you are getting turnovers or big time Tomlin splashers.

Their secondary is banged up but we are choosing to run. Harbaugh is laughing in his shoes.

I missed Minkah and Cam arguing on the sideline.

Cam is going to smack Minkah upside the head.

Of course i hold no ill will against Collinsworth. Lol
I can certainly see someone who cant stand him.. seeing it like you did..
Agreed. I think Collinsworth was anti-Steelers early in his career because of who he played for. But he’s been super pro Steelers for a long time. He loves their toughness. He compliments them a ton. I don’t understand the people that hate him. He’s mostly positive about our team.

Can't allow Ravens to score a TD here, just stating the obvious.

This just happened. On that run after the penalty 1st and 15 Dobbs gets a huge gain. Took advantage of TJs inclination to get into the backfield early and tackle lead him wide and Dobbs goes inside of the tackle, while TJ winds up in the backfield with no back.

They very intentionally used TJs tendencies against him. Very clever strategy.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

                                TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher
