Are the Patriots on drugs? Lateraling on the last play of regulation in a tied game and the Raiders catch it and score with no time left.

Probably the dumbest play I have ever seen to end a game.

    who coaches this team?

No, because you can't run a play during a timeout. This was a dead ball foul.

The same guy who sat a pro bowl caliber corner in a SB so that a backup QB could drop 41 points on him.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

        TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Always enjoy a Steelers win, even more so in seasons where there aren’t that many. Some really stupid penalties - but other than our ILB play, can’t really point to any area that angered me.

O-line is making progress. D-line played better. Mitch was efficient and looked like a vet. Young guys have me excited about their future. Looking forward to Omar’s first draft, have to believe he’s looking hard for the next Shazier(again). Bush won’t be back.

Oh, and what a crazy concept. Throwing and utilizing the middle of the field. Even some crossing routes. Game changer……

Bellichecks is too much of a player's coach. Too friendly with the team. All Bellichecks teams lack discipline and accountability. You'd never see a Tomlin coached team have a WR run backwards 20 yards then throw a lateral to the defense to end the game. Never happen.

maybe he'll go for a 2 point conversion from the 12 one day too. like our idiot coach did in a playoff game

All true.. he’s such a players coach he turned a blind eye to a serial killer AND the coke dealer on his teams.

This is the point that many of us keep making.

Tomlin makes bad decisions some times.

But every coach makes bad decisions.

Tomlin's overall record suggests that he makes fewer stupid decisions than other coaches (helped by having a good QB of course...like all HCs with good records over long stretches).

But as fans who live and die by each game, some of us feel like he's the stupidest coach out there because it hurts us when his bad decisions don't pan out. Even when they are coin flip (or positive expected value) decisions, it hurts when they don't work.

Seems Mr Allen had a chance to reflect on his stupid penalty by standing 3 hrs in the cold with zero snaps on defense played against the Raiders. Who said Tomlin doesn't discipline players?

yasss. I loved his coaching at such a critical time last night.

nearing 2 minutes left in the game. The camera pans to the sideline where you would think tomlin is going over important game planning/ decesions

eh nope. He’s talking to the OL and shaking the head of what one of the lineman.

                        What great friggin coaching.

Was that really because he was being disciplined? I don't believe he's played a single snap on defense all year, only STs.

He was still active for the game, and still got his full game check. Not too harsh of punishment, IMO.

Apparently, he injured his bicep at some point in the game, and had surgery on it yesterday; will probably not play again this season

Pittsburgh Steelers’ linebacker Marcus Allen suffered a biceps injury in Saturday night’s win over the Las Vegas Raiders. And it appears to be one that will keep him out of the rest of the season. In Instagram stories posted to his feed Monday morning, Allen is in a hospital bed with a sling on his […]

I’ve noticed you often criticize Tomlin more wins and the examples you use are silly as hell.

If Tomlin was talking to the OL how is that bad coaching? Seems like you would want to give your OL a pep talk before a game winning drive.
