The Steelers won. This reminds me of the fans that complain about the potential fantasy football points that were left out on the field.

The Steelers run a loose ship which leads to stupid penalties like today's. You're trying too hard NOT to see the correlation.

I wasn't complaining. And in anticipation of a stupid response like yours, I even tossed in "Great game" to get out in front of you.

I was just making an observation on a Steelers message board about today's game and kind of wondering if anyone knew anything about the lack of Fryermoof today. It's puzzling to me. I suppose I'll read something in the news this week about it.

Your post does not provide evidence of a loose ship. And even if it did, there is no ship so goddam loose that it could lead a player to walk into the opposing team's huddle during a game.

The only cause we can reasonably assign to Allen's behavior is shrooms or other hallucinogenics.

It's not drugs, it's lack of discipline and accountability.

I never expected perfection. That should be a given. Not even god is perfect.

Teams and players make mistakes every game. Coaches make mistakes every game. The team that makes the least amount of mistakes is more likely to win. Does this make sense to you now?

I only responded to what you posted. You want to view my response as stupid fine.

Maybe there were plays called for PF? Maybe MT made the decision to throw the ball to more favorable coverage? IDK?

My simply reply is this. Coaches give the QB options. The QB decides where to go with the ball based on the coverages, match up, or open player.

Serious question, does Gumble have dementia?

Watching the highlights on NFL.com, he called Darnold "Hubbard", Hubbard "Howard", and Trubisky "Darnold". He also at one point called Darnold something like "Hubb", as if he started to say Hubbard again and stopped himself.

Commentators make mistakes almost every game. In some way I understand. They are making calls in a fraction of a second. Commentators don't follow every team closely every week. They attempt to learn players names in "limited time"???

I am not a remember a "name" dude myself. I kind of understand. Most good to great players I can recognize. Other players? Good luck. As me in the heat of the moment with seconds and I might forget a team's starting QB.

Do you make excuses for everyone? That's literally his job all week.

Good thing you don't work for the NTSB.

More likely a lack of understanding the rules. There was a camera on Allen after the penalty and I swear his lips said "but it was during a timeout", as if that made it ok.

the reason I thought the refs were on some bull is because the flag was thrown in the middle of the field. I didn’t see any players doing anything at the time. Seeing the replay (they didn’t show it at the stadium) we were all confused.

Allen is an idiot for that one.

To be fair, Allen has a point. Anyone ever heard of offsides being called during a timeout?
