The mental part of DJ's game prevents him from being a better WR.DJ has the ability to do whatever he wants on the football field. He can beat man, zone, or combination coverages. He is "mini AB" without a HOF QB throwing to him.
I never read or heard DJ say he saw himself as a number one. Maybe this is your perception? I don't view WRs as 1 vs two, ect. I view WR's groups as skill sets and how well they can complement each other. DJ can be played anywhere as a WR and have success in the NFL.
DJ is a WR that can make plays in space. He attempted to create space by running backwards. It can be maddening in situational football. Sometimes an offense needs a 1st down. Teaching point for DJ.
Barry Sanders had a lot of negative runs attempting to make things happen. Overall good vs limited bad?Comment

DJ is pretty good. He improved on the dropped passes. Running backwards is a bad habit depending on the situation. He can improve.
For DJ to reach his fulll potential he will need to get better and more consistent Oline and QB play. DJ probably took less money to remain with the Steelers. dComment

Yea, now MKIA is comparing DJ to Barry Sanders. I've seen it all now.DJ has the ability to do whatever he wants on the football field. He can beat man, zone, or combination coverages. He is "mini AB" without a HOF QB throwing to him.

He's in his 4th year at one of the easiest positions to transition from college to the NFL. He is who he is at this point, a nice #2 receiver.DJ is pretty good. He improved on the dropped passes. Running backwards is a bad habit depending on the situation. He can improve.

I don't care about 1, 2, or 3. I view DJ as a multidimensional threat. This is why DJ was resigned and paid. Simple view right?Comment

No idea where he could have possibly learned such clownish behavior. It's a complete mystery.
