    Coming Together Against Good Defenses

The thing that gives me the most hope is that our O is coming together against top defenses.

Indy was ranked #5 going into the game.

Cincy and NO were right around #10.

I might be off by 1 or 2 games, but I think everyone we've played has been ranked in the top half of the league on D when we played them.

Steel sharpens steel. And the O is trending in the right direction.

Now we just need our top paid guys on D to earn their paychecks and this team could be headed for big things in the not too distant future.

Exactly, flip, and 3 of the next 4 against the Falcons, Panthers, and Raiders.

Pickett's developing, the running backs are developing, Pickens is developing...this is good stuff.

      Good stuff, indeed.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Wow didn't know Colts D was ranked that high. I ended up having to miss part of the game last night but I thought Pickett started off well and made some great throws on the Steelers game winning drive. Great accuracy and zip on a number of passes.

The Eagles only put up 17 points against the Colts. Very encouraging that we surpassed that and left a TD or 2 on the field as well.

I seriously hope this improving offense doesn't save Canada's job though.

We are starting to score 24 to 30 points a game which is encouraging.

and we are still leaving points on the field with some drops and slight misses in the red zone. People are starting to see what Pitt fans have known already.

Kenny us that dude. Get him in rhythm and a decent run game and good things will continue to happen.

The Ravens can be had as well. LJ8 is not playing good football right now and his most recent outburst after the loss to JAX isn't going to help his situation. I wish the Steelers were playing the Ravens this coming week, LJ8 might be on tilt right now.

The Ravens also could have won just about all their games so far and I’m not sure what to think other than we usually have LJs number.

Re: his tweet, I was surprised by the reaction from people. I kept hearing it was awful, homophobic, etc. Then I read he told some guy that insulted him on Twitter to eat a d@!k.

How is that homophobic? I guess we can’t joke around and tell someone to eat a bag of d@$:s anymore.

I always thought that comment took an argument and made it silly and de-escalated. There’s a whole genre called d@$k jokes and while childish, I never thought of them as homophobic???

But I digress before I offend someone with my general ignorance on some of these topics.

When I read it, homophobic didn't come to mind. But extremely poor taste in a public forum did. At best, immature as hell. I could also see how someone might interpret it as anti-gay, as if eating a d@!k is one of the worst things a guy could possibly do.

In any case, Lamar seems to be melting down. He bet on himself for this season, snubbed a huge contract offer from the Rats and it's not going the way that it went for Flacco when he did it. I'm not really anti-Lamar but I'm definitely anti-Rats and I hope they crash and burn the season away.

The story is far from over; need to see what LJ does in the playoffs. If he goes all the way and wins the Super Bowl, then he will "win" in negotiations just like Flacco did.
