Not a good start on defense.

pats throw short of the sticks on 3rd down and get first down

Pats using MOF Steelers refuse to use. That's the difference on the first two drives.

I thought the punt should have been a S and 2pts. Anyone know why not. I didn’t see the replay or hear the explanation.

                That’s a **** rule by the way.

should have been a safety. He had plenty of room to stop the ball going into the end zone.

why is a defender only given 5 yards when intercepting the ball but punt returner get 15+ yards on a muff

On a muffed punt (no possession) you can’t advance the ball.
That goes for either team that recovers.

Have to hold to 3's, Steelers not built to score 20.

Not a good start to Life Without TJ. An absolutely putrid offense marches right down the field, Watt's absence in the pass rush very noticeable.

the returner gets rewarded for making a huge mistake trying to field a punt over his head.

                        ridiculous rule

Pass rush is noticeably weaker without Watt.

Alex already had one where he didn't finish, this time Mac ran past the LOS instead of getting pushed back into him for a sack.

That's why PFF grades are important.
