Malik Reed sucked last week & this week....would have rather had Melvin Ingrahm who is playing lights out for Miami...but hey he wasn't good enough to give playing time to!

        Getting tired of that refrain.

Oh wait, I forgot ... loss has got to be entirely because of lack of execution by the players ... no blame can go to the coaches

Didn't look like it when the Pats decided to run & put the game away
The Bengals just got behind & passed more.

I agree that the offensive scheme seems to suck though.
Kenny would have the same success. Throw short of the sticks, ignore the middle of the field and have zero time to set and throw. I want Canada gone yesterday. Everything looks like crap.

              maybe

what happens if some of these incompletions are on target.

              the throw to najee
throw to muth that hits him in the facemask

the Off game plan isn't great. you're right. but what's it look like with a more accurate passer.
i really want to see. we all should want to see

Probably but I'd like to see him start, just to find out for sure.
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Has futility finally become expected with Steelers? It seems that all they produce are glimmers of hope anymore. Nothing consistent. Not a losing season is nothing to aspire to. Bleeding black and gold and dying a slow death every season . It's better than dying a quick death every season, but just slowing down the inevitable it seems lately. Fresh blood time?New GM now .New head coach maybe? I'll continue to cheer hard through slow death as I'm sure we all do . Wouldn’t it be nice to spill a little champagne on that blood again? Just a humble thought. I hope this season trashes that thought.

Being a small market team the Steelers can't afford an apathetic fan base. It could end up problematic in the long run.

And for those cheering it might bring the end to Tomlin be aware it could be a long recovery time to put fans in the seats. Which might mean more conservative cap management, aka Bengals '80s and '90s.....sigh.

i believe he still should have caught it. looked like defender hand got in the way of his vision

just saying the ball could have been thrown ahead of him a bit more.

like we saw pickett doing in pre seasom

I also believe the issue was Ingram wanted to start ahead of Highsmith. Sorry but that’s not happening.

Small market team doesn't matter in the NFL due to a real salary cap.
