    Mitch is now 30-21

do you really think those wins are because of Mitch or in spite of him?

Its week 1, willing to give him another week but if he looks the same we need to put the rookie in.

He looked bad, I didn't love the play calling but his ball did not look good at all and he didn't go through any progressions.

He didn't turn the ball over. But, he could have easily had 2 or 3 picks. He didn't look good IMO, but Tomlin will see it differently I'm sure

        21/38 for 194 yds and a TD.

about as one would expect from him, I'm just happy that he didn't throw any ints.

          He was very disappointing today.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Trubisky was garbage today. I’m sure he’ll go out next week but I’m ready for the Pickett era to begin.

I am hoping we get Pickett by week 4.

He is what he always was, so be happy he didn't turn it over.

yeah... would be fine with that stat line if we didn't give him like 6 extra possessions.

What was up with having him sit in the pocket most of the day and exposing him to the rush? There were very few rolling pockets and that's when Mitch is at his best. I'm not going to completely bash the play-calling, but that aspect was very puzzling to me. Because he was able to move the team into FG range (twice) to win it, his job is and should be safe. Had Cincy simply kicked the extra point to win it in regulation, the entirety of the Steeler nation would be calling for Trubisky to be benched.

He better get a hell of a lot better and Canada better get him on the move more often.

Watching today and what struck me is Trubisky is not the guy who puts the team on his shoulder and wills them to win. 3rd and 4 to keep the drive going and get more yards for the game winning FG. Nope.

Stop them on 4th and goal. Need one first down to almost run out the clock. Nope. Three and out.

5 turnovers, lots of good field position. He take advantage of it. Nope.

If the Steelers needed an 85 yard drive & TD to win with 2:00 minutes; I’d give it a 3% chance with Mitch. Just doesn’t instill confidence at all.

Mitch himself seems rather satisfied as if he thinks he played well. I had the same question as above, he runs better than he reads defenses so I was looking for him to break off some runs. But I think the difference between Pickett and Trubisky in passing, is stark and the sooner the coaches realize this, the better it will be. Pickett has nothing to learn from Trubisky. He is already much better at reading defenses, throwing the ball quickly and on time and throwing accurately.

I did not like all the criticisms of Canada, but THIS is legit.
Especially at the goal line where he could have the option to run it in.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

The offense looked exactly the same as it did last year with Ben except that Ben shined in the 4th quarter nearly every game.
