It appears that those who said "there was no legit QB competition" were right all along. But Pgh just had to have their fake dog and pony show regardless.

Hopefully they give Kenny some good burn in this one so that he can show that he's the better option.

If it's another 10 play outing + Mason for a half, then I think we know there isn't much hope for Kenny to start the season.

Mitchie will be the starter FOR THE FINAL PRESEASON GAME. Just like the coaches planned... Mitchie has done nothing to change that plan... Unfortunately for Emtee, KP8 has EARNED the QB1 job for the season start in Cincinnati... However, no decision has been made for the start of the season either way...

That's so last season... Najee Harris and the rushing game have not made an appearance... Also, the pocket is cleaner and longer-lived on passing downs this season....

That isn't an accurate portrayal of Emtee's contract... If he takes a certain percentage of snaps, there are incentives to make him up to $27.5 million... If he starts, there's a better chance the Steelers will be on the hook for more than $7 million....

However, I think the organization has more confidence in what we can achieve than many fans and they aren'y going to tank the season to evaluate one player. If MT isn't doing it after the quarter-season mark, then you consider the change
