No, but you saw him kiss Kordell on the cheek, stuff a photograph in a ref's shirt, pose for his Lombardi win with "Boom", and spew spit at every chance he got and screaming, "let's go!". I don't have a problem with any of it. But it's not like he was Mr. decorum.

None of that is like Shades does. Cowher was revered for his iconic acts, Shades, not so much. The kissing at TN fans after a late win says it all. Cowher would never have done something so disrespectful.

Pete Carroll, Dick Vermeil, John Madden, Vince Lombardi, and too many to name were fiery, demonstrative at times. All very good to great coaches.

I just want better performances in the playoffs.

Madden is nothing but a bloviated cheesedick, who peddles in salacious garbage. If the National Enquirer had a sports section, he'd be the ideal editor-in-chief. There is literally nothing to see here, yet in the doldrums of the offseason news cycle, everyone is jumping all over Claypool. Madden is going one step further by trying to incite the fan base with this disturbing pattern of bravado he's uncovered. What's next, the team chef will declare he's got the best chicken parmesan not just in the league, but in the entire country!

            Mamma Mia!!

I'm sure all you haters love slurping up Madden's BS and will gladly use any of his (or anyone's) ridiculousness to further advance your entrenched agenda against Tomlin. I have to say though, that I find it humorous to take such a non-issue and watch you guys fall all over yourselves trying to weaponize it. Y'all keep enjoying your offseason of hate and gloom!!

"Fiery, demonstrative" is fine. That's not quite what we are talking about. To put Shades up with the above coaches is a sin.

its only worse because you despise Tomlin.

No one was loving the chin when we were losing championship games to lesser opponents at home.

No one loved the chin when we were going 7-9 and 6-10. Cowher was just fortunate to win a SB at the end of his career.

Same with Noll in the mid to late 80’s. Winning cures all but don’t act like Tomlin blowing a kiss to the camera is the end of the world or a lack of class. Its just 2 seconds of camera time that pisses you off because you hate seeing Tomlin win.

Just goes to show how much they hate him.

Just seeing him in shades or a mask enraged them.. “look at Tomlin with his mask all high and his shades all cool”

but we all know these types of people are irrational when it comes to the reasons they hate a guy like Tomlin.

Yea, everyone who doesn't worship Shades is racist. We got it.

GOOD FOR YOU! That needed to be said! I woke up 5 minutes ago and this observation was on my screen. It cuts to the core of what really ails America in 2022: "Uppity Niggers." As an 83 y.o. Steeler Lifer Jew-Boy with a Black wife and 3 Black kids I see it every day. Even if I use too many big words

Disrespectful??? You don't have the context.... TN fans were jawing at him all week.... Instead of jawin' back at them... he simply sent them a compassionate message hoping to bring some dignity to the relationship. An upstanding move, to be sure... If people look to find the worst in people, they'll find it....

which only makes it more surprising to me that you would use that derogatory word.
