In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher -
Andy Weidl helped rebuild the Eagles into a Super Bowl contender. Can he do the same for the Steelers?

This makes me wonder that if Weidl hits it out of the park and the Steelers rebuild puts them back in SB talk in a couple of seasons how long will Weidl last in the 'Burgh as assistant GM? Some team is gonna wave the promotion in front of him.Comment

Three signings with former connections to the Eagles. I'd say Weidl is wielding his power.

Gm is likely the top, of course.
but maybe something like ass. Gm and director of pro personnel would be just as good as gm for weidl.
I believe Colbert had both titles.
a couple things going for us is they’ve known each other for a long time so as friends they can co exist
and Andy is from Pittsburgh. So he’s home now. Hopefully that’s where he wants to be in the latter stages of his careerComment

I’m not sure what the hierarchy of positions in the front office is like.

If they do great things as a tandem treat them as equal partners with distinct roles and pay both GM money.sigpic
