    TT
    Jalen Hurts 3.12
    Jameis Winston 3.02
    Zach Wilson 3
    Taylor Heinicke 2.97
    Lamar Jackson 2.96
    Teddy Bridgewater 2.91
    Justin Fields 2.91
    Josh Allen 2.9
    Sam Darnold 2.88
    Trevor Lawrence 2.87
That list is depressing, on it's own. Wow, some bad, bad QBs.

That list related to release times, not arm strength or hand size is BY FAR the most worrisome take on Pickett.

I hope it is akin to young Ben CHOOSING TO extend plays because he is greedy for bigger gains as Dizz implies rather than an INABILITY to locate an open target and quickly get the ball out.

If it is the latter that is a problem.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

      TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

I think the guys are the depot said something about how Pickett was in an offense with far fewer RPOs than many of the other QBs in the draft. And that the snap to throw times on RPOs is much shorter than non-RPOs.

Not sure if (i) this is the case or (ii) it we broke it out by play type that Pickett's time to throw looks different ranking wise.

I am hopeful though because it seems like he gets talked about in a way that suggests that reading the field is a strength.

Looking forward to actually seeing him play so some of these questions can be answered.

Didn't Ben have the quickest last year?

That stat doesn't mean much on its own.
Context does matter. There's 10 QBs with a whole lot of different context there. Not all were behind the best OLs.

Correct, these numbers on their own mean very little.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.
