I almost feel bad for him. $2.5m is way better than nothing, but relative to his peers and what he was likely expecting, this is some serious humble pie.

It's a good value signing. It would be nice to have every player on the roster possess star qualities but obviously this isn't possible. So in conclusion, I'm happy to have Edmunds and his very average play roam the SS position for one more year.
