People have been afraid of progress since the beginning of time dating back to the times where we believed the world was the center of the universe, the earth was flat, etc.

No need to fear change. There's always infinite opportunity in front of us all to make things better. That's our real freedom or choice that we're so lucky to have. Will you choose optimism or negativity?

The internet proves people respond 10x as much to negativity. That's why negativity is so prevalent online. The best way to combat it is to spend more time in the real world doing positive things for others. That will bring so much more joy than getting sucked down some internet conspiracy rabbit hole.

Not all progress is good. Sometimes progress creates problems which are not apparent right away. Examples include the internet, green energy etc.

Not all change is good. If you're smart you should have a health dose of skepticism. Never trust anyone 100% of the time.

Usually the stronger the feelings you have on a subject the more a person has done research and the less they are prone to being brainwashed.
