    Doubt it.

If it was just the first incident I could see why fans would be upset with it constantly being brought up but the second incident is where Ben really damaged his chance for total redemption.

It doesn’t matter if she had a sticker, a shirt that begged for it or if she flashed him and pulled him into the utility closet.

He put himself in a position to be accused and we have no idea what happened once he was in there.

So yes, the treatment he receives is right. He still had a standing O and a packed house. He will go into Canton. He will be loved by Steeler fans..

but his off field issues are also part of his past.
And the great news here is that he seems to have changed his behavior. Which is admirable.

so what.. doesn’t mean Ben has to take one into the utility closet and jeopardize his legacy for a 10 minutes of utility closet pleasure.

This was after the first accusation. It was stupid of him.

I’m not saying those girls didn’t set him up, they very well could have but Ben is responsible for Ben… and he made a serious mistake that cost him a lot of goodwill.

I am not going to judge. I am very happy Ben turned his life around and is on track for a reward a million, trillion times better than Canton. I'm sure Ben would say the same thing.

I will end with this: "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God."
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

And probably a Superbowl MVP (for whatever that's worth).

And if he doesn't go in on the first ballot (I believe he should), this will be the reason. And he'll have to sit with that. But not alone...with his family (including his daughter).

I don't think it will happen that way.

If we want to talk about unfair media treatment re: sex assault, I think the conversation should be about how the media basically turned away from the Robert Kraft story. And I think that if Ben doesn't get in on the first ballot, the voters should be asked some very serious questions about that incident.

DeShaun Watson needs to do the same thing.

Convicted? He was never charged. You know how easy it is to charge a man with rape or sexual assault?

The rape kit was negative. She was a liar.

I agree the Kraft incident was shady as hell.

I think if it was a player the media would’ve made a huge story out of sex trafficking.

Amazing how that story died but fans can and should continue to remind everyone about Kraft.

But I think there's a huge difference between "judging" and "Judging".

For example, I have no problem with having murderers put in prison. But I don't think that means they can't find salvation.

So I guess my answer is "about right".

And that I think that Ray Lewis and R. Kraft received preferential treatment from the media.

haha.. well, I will definitely admit having girls changed my outlook a ton. God is funny like that.

I used to say stuff like “she shouldn’t have put herself in a position like that..” or “look what she was wearing”

I have a girl. And I still say it. Girls have a responsibility too. Don't put yourself in any position to be in harm's way. That doesn't mean that bad behavior by guys is ever justified. Just that girls need to protect themselves.

I think Ben would’ve received similar treatment if it was just the Reno incident. We tend to give athletes a chance unless its caught on tape or there is extreme physical evidence.

If Ray had another violent off field incident I doubt we would treat him the same.

Kraft is a bit different because we don’t view owners like we view athletes.

Peyton Manning had the college tea bag incident and he almost “double dipped” when he put it in a book and brought more attention to it. If he had another incident with a woman best believe it would’ve snowballed.

Sounds like we are saying the same thing..

but sometimes it reads like people are justifying bad behavior by Ben in GA.

She wasn’t necessarily right but she still has rights.

For me, once you are accused you can’t put yourself in a position like Ben did in GA.

If he never went in that closet I doubt he gets accused. That was HIS fault, not hers.

What was Ben's bad behavior? He was partying, they were partying.

Sounds like you believe her claims and Ben got away with rape.
