I think even the biggest Ben hater (some might say it’s me) aren’t delusional
when it comes to Ben and the HOF.
If Rodgers and Brady retire, will the HOF committee put in three QBs the same year? If not, Ben is drawing the short straw and will have to wait.

      So teams 1 - 25 are within 3%.

      And we're 2% below team 25.

I think every 1% here is about 2 plays every 3 games or so? I don't expect you to have this data, but I wonder if the trend across the year matters for success in the playoffs. Do some teams get better here and then "peak" in the playoffs. Or is it pretty noisy game to game with no real trend.

Or maybe worse weather in colder places with no domes causes it to trend downward after Nov or so?
Real quick back of the envelope math...

For the regular season this year there were:
33205 running + passing plays this year across all teams
      ~1068 plays per team
~61 plays per team per game

So yeah every percentage point difference is about 0.61 plays per game.

Not sure why they wouldn’t since the NFL loves QB’s and all 3 are HOFers.

That would be more of a technicality IMO.

why do they complain about him so much?

and if they are allowed to because it is a message board. why can't posters complain about tomlin then?

there are posters on the scout board (and i assume others) that will argue that

I think its fine to complain about both.

Gives us something to think and talk about.

Some criticisms I agree with. Others I don't. And I try to explain why I agree / disagree. Nothing wrong with that either IMO

I will go out on a limb and say there is not one poster on this board who doesn't think Ben is a 1st Ballot Hall of Famer.
