Actually, more than that with bad results. When Miami drafted Marino we moved for their previous starter David Woodley (RIP). Didn't work out.

Also, Todd Blackledge. Didn't work out.

Most teams aren't going to jettison a good QB.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I forgot about Colbert retiring after the draft. If there is a change in philosophy I think it will be in next year's draft and not this year's.

For such a lousy org according to some, they sure get the interviews.

I wouldn't trade a bag of potato chips for Kirk Cousins.

his contract has to go down in NFL history as one of the worst ever given out.

                I don't hate Cousins but I wouldn't pay him top money. He's not a top 10 QB.

Just read an article that the Clowns could trade QB's with the Vikings. Cousins to the Clowns. Baker to the Vikes. Seems like a net nothing for either team, really.

He may not be top 10 but he, and Derek Carr, is top 15 and you can definitely win with that as long as you have pieces around him.

Build a dominant defense and a strong running games and you can compete with a Kirk Cousins every year.

You can win until you really need to win.

I think Kirk has one of the worst prime time records ever.. and even this year he tried to throw us back into the game with his INT’s.

You have to build an elite team everywhere to win with those average stiffs around, and even then, no guarantees. For the last 4 years, Cousins has had a top RB in Cooks, great receivers like Diggs, Thielen, and Jefferson, and more than serviceable TEs, yet, nothing. Last two seasons their D was bad, but previous two they were not. They had the 4th ranked D in 2018, and went nowhere. Overpriced systems QB that won't win you games like these young AFC QBs will consistently.

Get a cheaper version, and you will have the same results, or maybe better since you'll be able to spend elsewhere.

And that’s the challenge the 49ers face when going up against the Rams or Chiefs.
