Ben wants JuJu on the field.

"Roethlisberger said Smith-Schuster looked awesome on Thursday and said that even if it is only for a few plays, Smith-Schuster could provide a boost to the offense with his physicality."

It will be great to have JuJu back in any capacity. He brings excitement, enjoyment, he's a bit of an intimidating presence. Remember him standing over top of Burfict......

All that said, this board has been too hard on Ray Ray... He has made some clutch plays down the stretch this year. He will never be confused as a star receiver but he has made an impact. I worry more about him fielding punts than I do as a receiver.

We must have a bunch of 80yo posters here, who cares about his hair color, or dancing, or fortnite. He brings it, and has always brought it. It a generational thing.. in some ways a cultural thing. They dance more than ever now, run to the end zone to celebrate a turnovers, make a big deal about 1st down celebrations etc. I am not a fan of any of that but it is what it is.....

As long as the players come to play, give their best effort while they are wearing our beloved logo, I am rooting for their success on and off the field. Some of ya'll must be part of the "turn that darn RAP music off." crowd....

This would be a big boost to the offense if JuJu is ready to go!

I agree some on the board has been hard on Ray-Ray. If it weren't for his 4th down catch (no gimme) we wouldn't be here now.

On JuJu, even if he is a decoy it a great thing. He brings a lot to the table, hope he can play if his body is ready.

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

I really like Juju and think that the dancing thing got blown out of proportion. But I also think he should have stopped the first time he was asked to during the losing streak.

I think he'll (rightfully) go to UFA again and look for the best long term deal out there (again). If he can't get a long term deal (again), maybe he comes back on the cheap (again).

But if I were him, I'd be hesitant to do so on a 1 year prove it deal to a team with no QB. Especially when they've been having me run RB routes for the last two seasons.

But I still hope he can come back on the cheap because I think he'd be a great safety blanket for whoever the next QB is.

I have always said when JuJu came back for less that promises were made by the organization and they will honor those and resign JuJu with a good long term contract

I’m good with that even if we overpay a little

I remember hearing about the WR from USC just a few days before the draft. Everything about his description sounded like a young Hines. Didn't think Steelers were looking WR that early, but happy it was the guy who sounded like Hines.

I watched him make some insane combat catches in the Rose Bowl against Penn State so when we picked him I knew he was going to be good.

Everyone focused on his lack of speed but I saw a guy who bullied defenders on 50/50 balls.

and he is like Hines with his speed. He is faster when being chased.

Hines outrunning NFL Fastest Man candidate DeAngelo Hall with one shoe on is an all-timer.

I think JuJu has been impacted by the state of the offense over the past three years more than anyone. He's a gamer though and seems to always shows up when he's called upon.

If he wants to be here, I'd sign him. Unless there's a high level FA or trade they go after, they won't have to pay that high tier QB rate for some time now so they have some flexibility.

If Claypool improves we will see JuJu playing well again.. if the QB can get him the ball.

If he plays he will catch a TD on a deep crossing route. That play tends to work a lot with JuJu.

So Juju is going to play then? Awesome. I think the whole reason he came back for a year was to play with Ben in his final season and to see what happens, gotta love it. A little trivia that most probably know but Juju has not one but TWO 97 yard TD's, that's crazy. He's a good kid, the tiktok criticism stuff is so silly.

I agree that Juju probably lost the most $$ from this offense over the last two years (3 if you count Mason/Duck).
