JuJu is young which is a plus - it's hard to say but I'm thinking he's not ready by this weekend.

JuJu seems like the guy who wants to go into this battle.

Three Ways of Looking at This
      1. They have 21 days to activate him - so he gets some practice time in. Just in case they make a run and he's ready to go.
      2. He's healing fast and has kept himself in shape and he wants to Ball. Maybe work on increasing his market value for FA.
      3. JuJu has zero interest in playing b/c he's having a lot of success at the New Fortnite map but he wants to let everyone know he still plays football.

      I'm going w/ 1 and/or 2.

JuJu Smith-Schuster will practice today but will remain on the IR. His 21-day clock starts. Could be back for the Super Bowl

For a guy who covers the Steelers, this seems like a very short-sighted post. The Steelers can activate him at any point in the next 21 days. They designated him for return and had him a full-go at practice in this moment for a reason. Maybe he might not be able to make it back until the Super Bowl (let's hope we find out). But maybe he makes it back this week. He practiced TODAY and looked ready to go, according to 18. I would feel quite comfortable in saying it will be completely dependent on how he responds after practice and if the coaches concur with Johnson's opinion. Not the standard recovery time frame expiration date.

And could help the run game. He's the best edge and downfield blocking WR on the team.

If he is ready to go.. let him ride.

Ben needs him and he needs Ben. This type of gutsy play will hype up the team.

Will he dance on that logo?

If this dude puts his shoulder (and possible next contract $$$) at risk for the Steelers by playing in this game though it may not be fully healed, we have to make a serious effort to re-sign him, don't we?

I've been plenty critical of him because of his logo dancing shenanigans, etc., but looks to me like he's expressing a major -- and all too rare -- commitment to the team here.

If Juju does play I hope Canada doesn't call his first play a double reverse jet sweep that ends up getting him crushed at the line.

Exactly what I was thinking - like Gary Bertier spinning his tires and speeding into crossing traffic.

When JuJu says he loves the Steelers he means it.

Also, this is a chance to make a few plays and get some exposure. I’m sure if he suits up they will spend 5 minutes talking about how every team needs a JuJu on their roster.

While I’m critical of him as a #1 he was born to be a Steeler. Would love to have him back on a reasonable deal.

People haven't been paying attention... This kid's a steeler for life in his own mind and has been since day 1. He loves the team, loves the community - came back at a discount last year just so he could stay around.

If the team doesn't resign him, they're doing a disservice to both him and the fans.

                              This right here... 100%!!

He's got a skillset at WR and is not ideal as #1, but with the right #1 (like AB was) he could be an amazing #2. Him, Diontae and Chase is a pretty lethal 3-some. I think he's been underutilized since AB left.
