One of the most prolific passers in college history is called a dual threat by a few scouts and Lamar is the first QB you think of when it comes to hype?

    That’s interesting.
have you had a lobectomy in the last couple of years?

he was literally drafted a few months after lamaar won the mvp award?
the nfl is a copy cat league, i'm sure a part of your brain that's still activate has heard that through out the years

go ask the scouts that put out the review

another post bringing up race. soooooo unlike you. lol

here's a former coach talking about tua at the time of his injury of alabama.

note what he says at the 45 second mark

Getting out of the pocket and making things happen with his legs is different than designing an offense around a running QB like Lamar. Ben got out of the pocket and made things happen with his legs when he was younger. That was his game.

Note what Tua was doing in the replay of his injury. Buying time to throw accurate passes reminds you of Lamar? People were trying to get Lamar to run the 40 and play WR.

He also said Tua was a top 5 pick. How is that Lamar type hype? What IS Lamar type hype?

Its okay, you probably didn’t watch Tua in college.

              I’m sure you did. Right.
the scouts ( professionals paid to do this) thought he could be a dual threat qb.
You smoking weed all day watching college football doesn’t make you an expert on what nfl teams are looking for.

just like Mahan was our center for the SB team.

and Jonathan Stewart led the league in rushing this year.

any more great thoughts like this. The above from just the past week or so.

who on earth doesn’t want sone mobility with their QB nowadays.
                heck, Herbert is mobile
he’s also the more prototypical type of qb with his size.

the scouts thought tua could be a dual threat. that’s just the first 2 hits when googled his name.
I can search further and post more from the scouts tgat called him a dual threat if you like

poor guy can’t admit he made a mistake about Tua… lol.

Lamar ran for 1200 yards the year he won MVP.

Tua ran for 17 yards his last year at Alabama.

                  make it make sense.. hahahaha

its obvious NJ has no clue about why Tua received so much “hype” in college.

Tua had a .07 yard average his last year in college. Talk about dual threat!!

This scout called Lawrence a dual-threat. When the Jags drafted him, I'm sure you laughed at them for "buying the Lamar hype".

its sad when people make mistakes and can’t admit it.

no one in their right mind would compare Tua’s hype to Lamar Jackson. 2 totally different styles of QB play.

Miami wanted to copy Baltimore and draft a Lamar type QB so they drafted.. Tua? One of the most accurate passers in college history who averaged .07 yards a carry his last year the year he was drafted?

According to reports during pregame, he was a Herbert guy and had a bad relationship with Tua. He was pushing for DeShaun Watson, so they had fundamental philosophical differences.

We'll see who proves to be right.

I saw that also.. IMO.. Tua has never had the arm strength to be a franchise QB..
Watching him at Alabama.. he had excellent accuracy.. but I just never saw the "Gun" that some claimed he had. Hes also "Smallish" with a bad injury history.. so the odds of him being top tier arent great IMO. Hope the kid proves me wrong
