Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!
I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season. -
What makes you think we won’t draft a WR?All one needs to see is what Chase has done for Burrow. That offense is night and day better than anything they have had in the past decade. And people were openly laughing at that draft pick. Too bad the Steelers just have too many other needs to even consider WR in the next draft. Guess they gotta roll with Ray-Ray and the gang....
I seriously doubt we go OL early even though that’s what most on here expect.Steelers 27

It's a deep WR draft even if you get a low 3rd or high 4th pick for him you arnt using an extra draft pick at the WR position if you trade him for a pick. We're also in rebuild mode and need a QB. So, unless you can pay top dollar for proven performance, you sometimes have to go with potential. We have so many needs, that you can't pay everyone. QB, Linemen, WRs. It's not like we're one top wideout away from a championship.
But I get it. Claypool has regressed. He needs a lot of work.Comment

I'm fine with what you typed here. But we need to draft another dynamic wide & PLAY HIM. You think they will bench Claypool the way they are doing James Washington & give the rookie a shot? Maybe sign a great vet? I'm not sure Claypool will take the James Washington backup role well, but having him on the field with DJ is hurting us because neither stretches the field. We dress 5 to 6 WR’s.. why get rid of Claypool? For what?
Washington isn’t getting any better. He’s gone.
JuJu.. not sure he wants to come back but he seems to love the team and city and he can block so he comes back.
DJ is always open..
Ray Ray.. reliable PR.. but he could go and I wouldn’t lose sleep. He will stay though because I think he will improve as a WR.
Draft another dynamic WR and grab some insurance in FA.
You guys love to scream trade but no way the Steelers give up on Claypool next year. Especially with another QB who may throw deep passes with more velocity.Comment

Why in the world would they dump Claypool? Even if they go grab someone, he's your 3rd or 4th guy and he's on his rookie deal where he accounts for like 1% of the cap. I guess if someone wanted to throw you a 2nd rounder or something you consider it but otherwise, dumping him is just change for the sake of change.Comment

Because he doesn't run routes well, doesn't get separation, quits on plays, and drops balls because of bad eyesight, no balance, or a DB is too close to him. He's polar opposite of every good attribute of Lynn Swann EXCEPT he can jump a little. Why in the world would they dump Claypool? Claypool to me has gotten thru high school and college ball on pure God given talent. He's at the next level now and this alone won't cut it. He has all the tools to be a great one, but he is going to have to put in a lot of work to hone his skills for this level. I don't know if I have seen that dedication from him as of yet. He has stopped the antics during the game a s far as I can tell.Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I don't think the Steelers will give up on him yet, he's still on his rookie contract, has athletic ability but needs to put the time in and work on being a receiver with athletic ability instead of an athlete playing wide receiver. The Steelers and the fans will see what he is made out of next year, if he comes to camp, works hard and dominates in games or if they get more of the same as this year.

Half the Browns secondary was out & he still can't get open. Have to throw 2 yard dumpoffs on 3rd & 9.Claypool to me has gotten thru high school and college ball on pure God given talent. And since he's always covered Ben throws him passes on the away side of the DB & instead of adjusting, he falls down. His play was very disappointing last night.
When it's one high safety they usually lean DJ's way because he's the bigger threat. So Claypool has little excuses for lack of production.Comment

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:
