    Browns is the Browns.

I’m down in Charlotte and the Carolina Panthers have yet to have 2 back to back winning seasons. Some places simply aren’t used to having a winning culture. They may have a hot season every now and then but consistent winning is hard to do in this league.

The craziest thing was when Baker ran the ball and lowered his left shoulder and initiated contact vs going OOB.

The remaining schedule was Bengals, Ravens (2x), Titans, Chiefs, Vikings, Browns. I didn't see any way they'd win THREE of those games to get to .500, not with this crappy o-line...

There was a 3rd and 2 where Baker was sacked. That play was on our side of the field and should’ve been a run. Maybe he checked out of it due to the D.

Besides Chubbs 32 yards run they did nothing on the ground. -2 on the first carry, 1 yard here and there and maybe a 4 yard carry by D Johnson.

I get that everyone wanted them to keep running the ball but they weren’t successful when running it because we didn’t have Schoebert and Bush at ILB this game.

and that is what cracks me up with people who hate this stat. Those folks were all pounding their chest on Tomlin finally having his first losing season.

Seeing them upset over this is hilarious.

Seeing them upset thrills me. They pooh pooh thenever had a losing season but Tomlin has done it for his first 15 years. You know who else has done that...NO ONE!!!!!! Ever in the history of the NFL. But some clowns act like it is no big deal and nothing special.

Belichek never did it. Lombardi never did it. Noll never did it. Parcells never did it. Shula never did it. Landry never did it. But because Tomlin did it, it means nothing. Just shows how clueless those who hate him really are.

And our front office liked him better than any other center in the draft (even though he played OG).

basically, that's their way of saying, "LOOK... we took Najee and Friermuth and we got exactly who we wanted there. Sure, we missed out on the top 2 C but WE think it was worth it. So given the Pouncey's retirement and what's left on the board, this is who we thought was the best available (the other option being a gamble on a D3 guy to protect Ben) - oh and btw, it'd be pretty douchey to tell him that he wasn't our top choice, so... ahem.... WE HAD HIM RATED ABOVE ANYONE ELSE"

Tomlin's 15 years of non-losing seasons is an amazing accomplishment, but I would trade it, in a heartbeat, for 2 or 3 more NFL championships during that span. Not even a worthy comparison, IMO.

Everything doesn’t have to be compared to winning a SB.

I dont think he said a word about it being better than 2 or 3 more SB’s.

There were other pure centers available when Green was picked. Myers was there as well as Meinerz, just to name 2. Klemm scouted and wanted green bad, even though he was primarily a guard in college they liked his atheltism.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Sure. But have fun in those down seasons when you are already chatting up the the next draft halfway through the season.
