    Positives After this Game

Witherspoon, looks like he belongs back there

Hassenhauer ... looked far better than Green

    Dan Moore, good game

Waitmann ... should at least be given a fair chance to compete for starting job

    Najee, running hard and smart

Bush & Schobert out and we didn't miss them all that much

Great sendoff for Ben from the Heinz faithful

Was Green out for injuries or did the new oline coach play Hassenauer over him?

Green was in uniform on the sideline. I'm guessing they'll say he was injured and available for emergency duty if they say anything at all.

It was nice to see the running game open up a bit. The OL seemed to be run blocking with some intent.

Did Trai Turner get hurt? Thought I saw someone else in there (probably Joe Haeg) later in the game.

Had Hassenaur been our starting center all season I think the Steelers might have won a couple more games. Green has been a total liability.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

Hard to argue this point, particularly after seeing the running game tonight and Ben without Green in his lap all night.

Hopefully he gets at least 1.5 sacks next week for the NFL record.

                    THAT would be truly sweet!
At this pace I'd actually be surprised if he doesn't get it.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

It's between him and Parsons, who is an absolute beast all over the field. I haven't seen a rookie like him in a very long time. I honestly think he's the best complete defender in the league, and that's because there's literally nothing he can't do.

And to think he could do this.. missing a few games.

Agreed on Parsons being a beast. If TJ gets the sack record i dont see any way he gets snubbed for MVP.

                            • Spoon has been rising and is a strong pair with Sutton. Stats don't get posted until tomorrow so I'll update but before last night; targeted 23 times, 8 comp. allowed (that's top 10 stuff there), 1 TD allowed, 2 INTs, 1 dropped INT.
                            • Haden had a pretty good game (1 TD allowed but complete size mismatch)
                            • Highsmith vs Ingram?... no debate for me. Highsmith was relentless all night, and he is only 24 yrs old.
                            • Watt... what can you say that hasn't already been said? nonstop, abusive to OL, and to think he is not a freakish athlete, he just has refined his craft to an all pro level, Steelers win when he plays more than 50% of snaps
                            • OL can be rebuilt quickly if they get the right pieces next season; Moore kept Garrett quiet all night, Haus>Greene, Okorafor was just OK against Clowney
                            • New punter = keeper; sorry Harvin. It was fun while it lasted but that's the NFL for ya. Gotta hope the Steelers don't just keep Harvin cause he was drafted
                            • Spillane, yea he ain't the speediest but at least the guy plays the run well; 14 tackles last week and tack on another half dozen from last night.
                            • Heyward; still the guy that makes the whole defense go. Tretter is a top 10 center and Heyward laid waste to him when one on one
                            • Najee - gonna be fun to watch when the Steelers finally find an OL... the stiff arm was a classic and should have them roaring in the film room
                            • Claypool - welp, I'm gonna stay quiet about his game. That's the most positive thing I can do.
                            • Roethlisberger - not exactly a highlight reel game but no mistakes of significance and did what he needed to to get the win
                            • C Morgan - one game but can't argue with the results. Let's see what happens next week before deciding his future with the team.
                            • Tomlin - had the team ready, and secured yet ANOTHER NON-LOSING SEASON!

only thing we have to remember is Cleveland kinda mailed it in last night since they were eliminated.

Not sure this was maximum effort on either side for the ball for the Browns
