And only because there's a 7th playoff team, with 6 we'd be done.
The Steelers were only ever mathematically alive, there was nothing else about this team that suggested they were a playoff team. They've got a point differential of -70, for crying out loud.
nah.. the AFCN was a bottle neck until the
Bengals pulled out the W. Even with 6 playoff teams it would’ve came down to the last 2 weeks simply because no one pulled away in the AFCN.
Maybe Ingram actually made a difference and he tanked on purpose to help the Bengals win the AFCN
The Steelers were destined to go 8-8-1 since the tie, I think it plays out that way.
Totally, it just makes sense "never had a losing season" even in a 17 game season.
The only thing I wonder is are the Ravens pretty much out too then now after their loss? So essentially Browns and Ravens have nothing much to play for now...
Still mad about that bogus flag on the failed 4th down that bailed them out.
Wtf was that coach thinking and imagine if they didn’t get the flag?
I didn't mind the Bengals going for it but it was a terrible play call should've been a flag on that lol. Honestly wasn't a very well coached game by either side.
That flag just gave the game to the Bengals full stop which is totally ridiculous, NFL wants this kind of garbage? Apparently so since it happens all the time now with these kinds of flags, no accountability.

yeah.. they literally tried to Bungle that game away with that dumb ass decision and the NFL had to step in to save them from snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
I thought it was one of the worst calls in the history of sports.. if they didn’t get that and ended up losing.. lol.
If Tomlin didn’t kick a FG in that same position fans would’ve burned his house down.. and rightfully so.

Browns have been running smack all week, they want to send Ben out a loser. If they are into the game, I don't see how we stop their run game.
I think we take this game, honestly. Steelers at home in prime time are money. Now factor in it is Ben's last game at home and I believe there will be a Who's Who of Steeler greats in attendance.
I don't see us losing.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!
I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

Half a yard vs. stopping Mahomes and that offense from getting into FG range with 40 odd seconds left. If Bengals had a better defense then kick the FG. Just a terrible play call though bailed out by an equally terrible flag.
Bengals actually had at least two scoring drives kept alive due to terrible officiating. There was a 3rd down play earlier in the game where a Chiefs CB briefly put his hand on a Bengals WR's hip that was called PI, just ridiculous. Officiating is ruining games at this point and the NFL doesn't even seem to care. Chiefs also had a TD return called back on a hold, etc.

and without the help of the refs they go to OT. I don’t think that was a good decision.
Also remember they had another failed attempt that was negated because of offsetting penalties.
I think these new coaches lean a bit too much on analytics and when these decisions fail they look ridiculous because who in their right mind doesn’t kick the game winning FG with 40 seconds left out of fear of the other team tying the game?
