I'd say this is maybe Tomlin's laziest coaching season, just seems like the fire is out maybe, it's like he's on auto-pilot. Like I don't know how the coaches can review game film week after week and decide the offense is fine as is, nothing changes, same play calling and tempo, etc. Just look at how few points the team has scored in the 1st half this season vs. second half and especially the 4th quarter. It's just bad and lazy coaching ultimately.
Thats crazy, do you really think the players dont respect him as a head coach? Tomlin has been coaching successfully in the NFL for a long time and alot longer than almost the entire roster has been in the league. The problem with the team isnt coaching, its talent and experience. Despite some of the bad losses we are still in the hunt and a few plays a way from having a couple more wins under our belt and being in 1st place.

If Tomlin has lost this team then they do not show up in the second half last week.

I don't think it's crazy at all, some players might like Tomlin but that's not the same as respecting him as the head coach. I don't know how you can watch this team and think the problem isn't at least partly on coaching at this point, now that's crazy.

It is completely absurd Tomlin is not only respected as a coach in that locker room but around the NFL. Tomlin knows how to win in the NFL just check the resume, he didn't forget how to coach this season. The problem as I said is the lack of talent and the inexperience, specifically in the trenches on both sides of the ball, changing the coach doesn't fix that.

Schobert said the same thing. So there’s your answer right there.

                    Tomlin hasn't "lost the team"

Now, if only he could get them to play a decent first half

Seriously, Clayfool was the punching bag last week because of his selfish antics that cost us precious seconds at the end of the game ... but Tomlin pi$$es away precious time at the end of the 1st half vs. the Titans, and I don't hear a lot of folks criticizing him (maybe I just missed it).

I mean what did yesterday do to change anyone's opinion on Tomlin? Those who like him will still like him those that don't will still hold that opinion. My issue with yesterday's win is the Steelers didn't really do anything that much better than previous weeks, didn't see much in the way of adjustments or improvements, etc.

It's funny how the media loves Tomlin but if you check out post game grades given out by the local sports outlets in Pittsburgh Tomlin and the coaching usually gets a D or C, including yesterday's game.

I wonder how Vrabel was graded yesterday?

Lol I vividly remember a 5 play drive midway in the 3rd quarter where they had 3 consecutive pass plays in a row after getting 13 yards on 2 runs to start the drive.

Thought to myself man what would a Steeler fan would post if we were running against them for 200+ and do that? ( rhetorical, we would bitch about it).

I think he's done a really good overall in Tenn but yesterday I might give him a D simply because of the overuse of Tannehill lol.

when fully healthy, you could make a case that it's better.... and that's scary.

We forget how much we've played without starters this season... I'm guessing games where we had less than 50% of the starters. The majority of the season with only Heyward as a d-line starter.
