He's not played well at all this season, but he had an injured foot, a terrible o-line, the worst o-coordinator in the NFL, and no one fears the passing game, so he gets no help there. I've said it before, I'd go with a lot more touches for Warren just to shake things up.
As the Steelers search for answers to aid a struggling offense after a 2-6 record to open the season, head coach Mike Tomlin noted that undrafted rookie running back Jaylen Warren has earned an expanded opportunity to keep making plays.

It seems like 80-90% of Najee’s runs are predictable. Dance a little then pick up 2 yards, dance some more and lose a yard.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

He was hardly "all that" when playing healthy last year. This year he has a Lisfranc injury and has been playing with a steel plate in his shoe. He was never allowed to just heal from the injury. Way to manage players, Cool Shades. Shades "hurry up and play" attitude could have ruined the guys effectiveness for life.

There are OLD MEN in their 40's and 50's who wouldn't miss that hole either!
Tomlin hasn't won a playoff game in seven years and counting. The earliest will be eight years. I guess that in Art Rooney's II, opinion is worth a 3 year extension.

Our 2024 draft looks to be grade A. Our 2023 draft is an A. The roster is talented, but Mike Tomlin is still the head coach.

*** Mike Tomlin is the best coach since the AFL- NFL merger that has not won a playoff game in 8 seasons or more. It's either him or Lewis. ***

Yeah, Harris is so bad as missing the hole, you'd think he was a virgin. Najee that is.

A few exceptions: Derrick Henry (the current beast of the NFL RBs), Shaun Alexander (damn good in his day), Mark Ingram (a load who lasted a long time in the league). And to a lesser degree, Bobby Humphrey and TJ Yeldon. It's like AB is akin to PSU in NFL busts at RB. PSU had a lot of busts, save Franco and Curt Warner.

Najee Harris ran *angry* against the Falcons. Created so much after contact.

Looks healthy, running totally different since the bye. This is the guy the Steelers drafted and saw last season. Excellent performance. #Steelers

All he needs is a chance.
When he was struggling, he was getting hit behind the LOS. Hes a good RB..
And we are set that that position depth wise
The OL is steadily improving with their Run Blocking in recent weeks.

But doesn't he have a "mismanaged" lis franc injury?

Still say Harris is best when sharing the load. Would like to see Warren get more snaps, especially in the passing game where he can be explosive.

i still think he's best when running between the tackles.. the o-line does seem to be improving...
