If Ben doesn’t realize that going under center is the best way he can lessen the pass rush as well as help the running game , then he’s not serious about winning. Every poster in this room knows that.

I don't think the question is about helping Roethlisberger. It's about making the offense better. Take another look at highlights from 2017-2018 time frame. A lot of the big plays he had were on play action. And the stats prove it's been effective when he does it.

Play action should help Ben with intermediate throws by freezing the LB’s.

No but we already. Know he doesnt want to run play action because he doesnt want to turn his back to the defense. He cant extend plays like he used to so he would have to rely on his pre-snap reads and it just isnt his strong suit.

As has been stated repeatedly he doesn't want to go under center. So it isn't helping him, but that is what is needed to help the offense. What would help him would be getting an OL he can trust to hold off the pass rush for more than 2 sec.

Well, I think we’ll improve the line. But if Ben is still that insistent about not getting under Center then he isn’t here for his teammates.
