The real reason that I backed off posting on this great board . . .

Is because of the resistance I got from my contention that Tomlin is not the guy to lead us to a super bowl.

So, honest question - what are your thoughts about him now?

We have an aging QB with no deep ball.
No running game. Linebacker Corp decimated.
All we can successfullly on offense are short passes.

We were the last undefeated team of the season using smoke and mirrors on offense djfan.

Got no problem at all with Tomlin.

I think it was overachieving when this team was 11-0.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

I no longer refuse to blame Mason Rudolph or the Duck anymore. We are seeing the same thing this year with offensive weapons.

This offensive scheme is worse than some high school teams. This dink, dank, dunk won't win us another game outside maybe Cinci.

I like Tomlin but the problem I have with him is he doesn't seem to embrace change. This offensive ****-show should be ended now. Should have been ended 5 weeks ago. If Ben can't get it done, next man up.
Help me find my post proving I am a Yinzer!

I will tip my hat to Tomlin if he has a winning record and the team makes the play-offs in the upcoming season.

The ass-clowns running this offense should have been shown the door. This offense can't win in the NFL. It is not much better, if any at all then with mason and Duck last year. Teams are putting 9 amd 10 players in the box. It's not going to work.

OL can't hold hold up for any pass longer than 2 sec. Roethlisberger will get killed. I seen Steelers lineman sprawled on the ground on multiple snaps. Not good.

You are correct but Ben is not throwing a good deep ball. Just calling more plays that highlight your weaknesses won't fix whats broken.

I think, as I did before the season began, that Tomlin is a very good, but not great, head coach. I don't blame him for most of the problems this team currently has, many of which have been mentioned in this thread. And I don't think the Rooneys are anywhere near ready to take the position away from him. As long as MT keeps turning in non-losing season and the Steelers keep making money, he's gold. I would not be surprised if he coaches here for another 15 years or more.

which is why I think there's no point in wanting Tomlin to be fired.

                          it's not gonna happen...

So you overlook Ben, the offensive line, Connor and the drops? Ok big fellow whatever makes your boat float. Ben is scared to get hit, stubborn and want to run the show. It's hard to blame Randy or Tomlin when they're trying to cater to an ego!!!!

The coaches are trying to cater to an ego of a Qb. Who's scared to get hit, don't want to practice and want the offense to run as he sees fit. The douche bag players that left Bell and Brown told you that. Along with the Media. I'm not excusing Physo Brown or the rap star Bell. But former and current players talk and the media wasn't pulling this stuff out of their azz!!!
