Colbert has been doing this “ Darren Sproles” search for years and he’s failed over and over again.

Rainey, Archer and now McFarland. There are a number of things Colbert does well but this isn’t one of them. He’s wasting picks on these hobbit backs that never pan out.

why don't you tell us again how you wanted to draft Prince Tega Wanoghu in the 2nd round you master talent evaluator?

He can still try. You've mentioned two that busted and automatically put McFarland in their company. We'll see how he plays out, but he is a different kind of RB than what we have now and I'm interested to see how we use him in the future.

Kid was highly recruited by Bama and Canes after a HS Sr. season in which he broke his leg . So some big dog schools wanted him even after injury . He turned them down to stay close to home. Not much miles on his tread is fast as hell and we only spent a forth on him . Give the kid a chance . I`m thinking the Steelers are looking to transition to a rotation of backs for the future .

Those are the exact same things that were said about Rainey and Archer.

you know nothing about McFarland, probably have never even seen him play so why don't you stop pretending to know what you're talking about.

They were but, You can't lump all together and quit trying...If you miss on 2 LT's you don't stop drafting them...If you miss on 2 OLB's you don't stop drafting them... It's just something they haven't quite hit on yet, Here's hoping to better luck

if you look around the league. There’s more and more teams these days that have a guy in this mold.
they used a 4th rounder on him after missing with archer ( comp 3rd) and Rainey (5th)

We’re not drafting them with super high picks

I guarantee the people praising the pick never heard of him either.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

You missed one name my friend. Small, fast,

Seems to me....Colbert is looking for THE ONLY STARTING RUNNINGBACK IN HIS CAREER WHO ACTUALLY HELPED HIM A RING!!!

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

He ran for 299 yards vs Ohio State 3 years ago. He runs a bit high but I like this pick.

Dude looks like Willie...the way he just bursts through holes before they can close.

Good to see you back in the mix captain....

Captain , you are reaching back 15 years ago. Can we stay in the last 7 years at least?? You kill me. To prove a point, you reach back hundreds of years ago because you have nothing recent to validate a point. What happened in 2005 has no bearing now. The light bill I paid in 2005 has nothing to do with me keeping on the lights in 2020.

In recent times... right now... Colbert hasn’t gotten it done as far as little guy RB’s. That’s just a fact.
