    that's a tough one.
were you crying how scary they were when they drafted that awesome TE Hayden hurst?
    what happened

I tell you what I rather have
a proven all pro safety instead of the #18 pick.

id rather spend a 3rd round pick ( diante) rather then pick 25 overall on a similar skill set player.

and I’d rather take a guy with Claypool’s measurable at 49 then that same 25 overall sub 6 foot wideout

their biggest weakness was and is their passing game.
    how did they improve that?
Wow, it's amazing how terrible all those moves they made and were still able to kick us and everyone else around last year.
I bet there 4th round wr pick improves their passing game more than our 2nd round wr.
Tell me if you honestly think we improved our weakest areas.
How is it possible to have the best owner, best front office, best gm, best HC, good/great drafts every year and good FA acquisitions every year, but only have 3 playoff wins in 14 years?

In case you missed it, they were already the #1 spot in AFC playoffs, and they got way better. How many holes did we fill? Ummmmmmmm

I think they were 14-2? I'll take some of that action with you. I don't think Ravens even go 13-3. 11-5 more like it.

              Nobody mentioned record except you.
That's a lame argument to try to discredit a team that drafted well.

our weakest area from last year was the offense. Pretty easy to see.
the big question is will Ben be heathy. By drafting a WR it seems the FO thinks he will be. And they have much more information on what’s going on the the average message boarder does. So that’s a good sign.
the draft isn’t over yet so Ill Wait another day to see if they address the RB position.
but yes, I think it can be improved.
Again We’ll also see improvement there with a more capable passer opening things up. Conner had a pretty good season 2 years ago.
even samuels looked good at times when Ben was the QB.
We’ll see if snell has improved from his rookie year.

foster is probably an addition by subtraction. Old and broken down. A healthier pouncey will also help the OL.

                Let me ask you again
who would have you drafted to start at those “areas of need”

There are back up players on the team ( recent draft picks) slotted in some of those positions.
what makes a 3rd rd pick this year the automatic starter ahead of a draft pick a year or 2 ago who has been with the team ?

we’ll see in a few years how well they’ve drafted this year. But it’s not like we haven’t heard that $hit before

Akers, Dobbins, Moss, Dillon, Chin, Lewis, Jackson, cushenberry, Wilson , baun, Elliot and Hamilton would all have a legitimate shot to start or contribute more than the 2 we picked.

can you point out where I said it’s great?

i did say it was great to get all pro play last year from what would have been the 18th pick
something already proven instead of a what if. Not sure why you’re dismissing that.

of course our draft doesn’t look as good today when we already used it in a trade last year

so you would have drafted moss (83) and cushenberry (86) in the second round at 49??

Or you would have added another defensive player with yet another high pick to a defense that was near the top last year and has spent a number of high draft resources on that particular unit when the offense ranked near the bottom last year?

lol. I’m glad you are no where near the the Steelers war room during the draft

The Ravens had as many picks in Rounds 1-3 as we have this entire draft. So of course they are going to look like paper champions.

Every year, the team with a boatload of picks gets praise for their amazing draft.

You guys crack up, arguing over silly points...

we actually had a 2nd rounder and a 4th rounder ( pick 102 is actually the 6th pick in the 4th round, if there were no comp picks)

Yeah the Ravens draft (who also had 2 more picks than us) does look impressive, they are great a team. That is what great teams do they draft well. ( Respect!)

The majority of picks the Ravens took I wanted, and would love them in Black and Gold.

But just keep this in mind..

Forgive me I go brain dead, I think it was Dale Lolley saying that he heard or read that a lot of mocks had the Ravens connected to Claypool. Maybe that is why they traded back instead of taking Dobbins when they could of. They had a way earlier draft pick in the 2nd, and probably had 5 guys they liked including Claypool. Just picture a BIG FAST PHYSICAL WR in that offense, going over the top, huge catch radius for an inaccurate QB, lined up with Andrews and Hollywood, sealing the edges blocking for Ingram.

We might of ruined their draft plans, if you are looking from Harbaugh eyes.
