My biggest concern with Ruddy is his pocket awareness. He does not slide or climb in the pocket. I think this will come and not to worried. I am also concerned this dink and dunk crap the coach is calling is hampering his growth and getting him used to not looking down field. When he does go down field he gets it done. Except for today he has gotten 2 TD in every game. Open up the offense, see what happens.

Yup. Not easy to play QB in the NFL.

Let's see how he's doing by the end of the season.

This. We just have to hope that, at some point, the light comes on for him. I think there's a decent chance it will.

Maybe we should remember what Ben did six games into his first season starting.
Well onto his way towards the NFL RECORD for rookie passer rating?

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:

          TCFCLTC-
The Coach Formerly Considered Less Than Cowher

Almost halfway to leading the team to the all time Steeler record for wins in a season?

Six games into setting the following record he still owns:

Most consecutive wins, regular season, to start a career for a starting quarterback: 15, Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers, 2004–2005

6 games in we are discussing if Rudy is a capable starter.

After 6 starts with Ben we were already discussing if he was better than Bradshaw.

He just looks very average to this point. He’s not bringing anything special. He makes most throws look more difficult than they should.

He’s all we got; we have no other options. So let’s just watch him grow.

Didnt Ben have a more dependable running game?

We lack quickness at the RB and WR position.

Johnson is the only guy with quickness to create separation.

Washington and JuJu win with size and physicality. They are more straight line speed fast than they are quick.

Same problem at RB. No RB with any wiggle.
Tomlin: Let's unleash hell and "mop the floor" with the competition.

yeah, plus conner is hurt every other game now too. Gonna be interesting to see just what we do in the off-season to fix the many woes of the offense.
