When he posted his fine letter on social media, I knew the Raiders would have to do something. That's just completely unacceptable. And his jibberish comment on the letter wasn't any better.

He's either the dumbest athlete in the league or he seriously has mental issues from the Burfict hit to the head. We all knew he was a me-first, diva, drama-seeking piece of work. But even I'm surprised by how this has gone down after he forced his way out of the Steelers org. You'd think he'd have a slight bit of professionalism after getting all that guaranteed money.

Something is seriously wrong with him.

You can definitely see a scenario where Brown is finally out of the league. He just seems to keep escalating. You'd think after being promised guaranteed money, the guy would settle down a bit. But it's getting WORSE as time goes on.

I'd have to say there's definitely a level of exoneration for those two, but also the organization as a whole. there's no textbook for dealing with a situation like this but hindsight shows they seem to have done a pretty good job overall

It was less than a year later that he went bat-$**** crazy.



While ultimately, it may have been about money for big chest, I don't think that's why the Steelers let him walk. He became far too big of a distraction and his conduct became very visibly detrimental to the team.

My understanding was that he went to the team asking for a new deal first.

The team said no because it was a ridiculous request.

Then AB went crazy.

I actually thought most of the crazy was an act. Now I think it's clear that it's probably more crazy and less acting.

Dude can run one hell of a route tree though.

Nope. I really thought this was going thru the motions.

Never thought they would suspend him.

I also never thought he would actually threaten to punch Mayock in the face.

A lot of things happened that I would’ve never expected these last 3 days.
