He wanted the money but his actions say he really doesn't want to play anymore. He just wanted the money as a parting gift as he leaves the league.Comment

But...His own stupidness will finally do him in because, He just can't shut up, or not have the last word...
The Raiders can go after the 30 Mill guaranteed if it's proven conduct detrimental to the team...I would think the Raiders have that little problem covered...About 10 foldComment

I'd have to say there's definitely a level of exoneration for those two, but also the organization as a whole. there's no textbook for dealing with a situation like this but hindsight shows they seem to have done a pretty good job overallComment

My understanding was that he went to the team asking for a new deal first. He had just gotten a new contract in 2017!It was less than a year later that he went bat-$**** crazy.
While ultimately, it may have been about money for big chest, I don't think that's why the Steelers let him walk. He became far too big of a distraction and his conduct became very visibly detrimental to the team.
The team said no because it was a ridiculous request.
Then AB went crazy.
I actually thought most of the crazy was an act. Now I think it's clear that it's probably more crazy and less acting.
Dude can run one hell of a route tree though.Comment

Nope. I really thought this was going thru the motions.
Never thought they would suspend him.
I also never thought he would actually threaten to punch Mayock in the face.
A lot of things happened that I would’ve never expected these last 3 days.Comment

The final straw was AB telling Mayock he had the fourth overall pick and got the third-best defensive lineman out of Clemson with it
